Position: Business Development Manager (Solar C&I)

Location: Port Harcourt

Slot: 1

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the Solar C&I sector, targeting medium to large enterprises.

2. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and potential clients in the solar energy market.

3. Prospect, network, and leverage existing relationships to build a robust pipeline of potential Solar C&I clients.

4. Drive sales of PV solar panels to Solar vendors, Utility companies and EPC contractors

5. Lead the negotiation of contracts and closing of deals, ensuring alignment with the company's sales targets and profitability goals.

6. Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate decision-makers, facility managers, and energy consultants.

7. Monitor sales performance metrics and generate periodic reports for senior management.

8. Provide feedback on product performance and client needs to influence product development and improvements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering is a plus.

- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the renewable energy industry.

- Proven track record in selling solutions to the Solar C&I sector, with demonstrable revenue growth and customer acquisition achievements.

- Strong understanding of solar technologies, including PV panels

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

- Adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

- Good Network with Solar installation companies, Solar solution providers and EPC contractors.
