Role Overview
BaGade Global Travels is looking for a tech-savvy, creative, and results-driven Social Media & Website Executive to lead our digital engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress (Elementor) , strong customer service skills , and a passion for driving growth through social media and digital marketing .
You’ll be responsible for managing our online platforms, updating the website with travel content, responding to client inquiries, and creating compelling campaigns that directly translate into sales. This is a pivotal role in shaping the digital voice of a growing travel brand focused on Africa-to-global experiences.
Key Responsibilities ? Website Management (WordPress/Elementor)
- Regularly update website pages with new travel packages, blogs, testimonials, and promotions.
- Ensure a seamless user experience through accurate content updates, layout improvements, and mobile optimization.
- Use Elementor to edit landing pages and maintain a vibrant, professional online presence.
- Apply basic SEO best practices to improve visibility and rankings.
? Social Media Management & Digital Marketing
- Create, schedule, and publish original, engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and Twitter/X.
- Build a social media calendar aligned with cultural moments (e.g., Detty December, summer holidays).
- Design visuals using Canva and write clear captions that drive engagement and inquiries.
- Launch paid ads and promotional campaigns that generate sales and measurable results.
- Monitor analytics and report monthly insights with improvement suggestions.
? Customer Engagement & Communication
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound messages across all platforms (DMs, emails, WhatsApp, web forms).
- Respond professionally to booking inquiries, customer questions, and feedback.
- Support the client journey from initial contact to post-booking follow-up.
? CRM & Client Follow-Up
- Use tools like FluentCRM or Mailchimp to manage leads and send automated email updates.
- Organize and collect client testimonials, feedback, and reviews for future marketing use.
- Maintain client records and help build a loyal customer base.
? Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track engagement metrics across digital platforms and web traffic.
- Suggest and implement content, layout, or campaign tweaks based on trends and data.
- Stay informed on travel and diaspora trends to keep content relevant and exciting.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management , WordPress website editing (Elementor) , or digital marketing .
- Strong command of written English and ability to craft engaging content.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva , FluentCRM , Mailchimp , or similar.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and responsive communicator.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results without micromanagement.
- Basic understanding of the travel/visa industry or a strong willingness to learn.
