Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager with digital sales skills who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness in addition to converting leads to sales, improving marketing efforts, and increasing engagement with target audiences. This role involves maximizing the leads from the digital channels and closing the sales, managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying current with social media trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage them effectively.
- Plan, execute and promote social media campaigns across various social media channels.
Sales:
- Convert leads from social media channels, email marketing, and other digital channels to sales.
- Ensure significant ROI on all sponsored Ads and advertisements.
- Meet performance sales target allocated.
Community Engagement:
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms.
- Foster a positive community and engage with followers to build brand loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics using analytics tools.
- Generate reports on campaign performance, engagement, and ROI.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and improve results.
Advertising and Promotions:
- Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Set budgets, target audiences, and optimize ads for maximum impact.
- Monitor ad performance and adjust as necessary to achieve goals.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders for collaborative campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Brand Management:
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain a strong, positive brand voice and online presence.
- Manage social media crises and handle negative feedback professionally.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Experiment with new features, platforms, and strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Attend industry events and training to continually enhance social media expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Telesales skill/experience is desirable.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
