ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager (Volunteer) to help us build and maintain a compelling online presence. This is a remote, unpaid volunteer opportunity perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience, grow their portfolio, or contribute to a purpose-driven organization while showcasing their digital skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business goals
• Manage and grow our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Telegram.
• Plan, create, and schedule high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned content (graphics, videos, captions)
• Monitor social trends, competitors, and platform updates to ensure relevance and innovation
• Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and marketing team members
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports on growth, engagement, and ROI
• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions professionally, timely, run and optimize paid social media campaigns
• Build and manage influencer collaborations, partnerships, and giveaways
Stay up to date with best practices in social media marketing and platform algorithm changes

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role.
• Passionate about digital media, branding, and community engagement
• Have experience managing social platforms professionally
• Can write compelling captions and think visually
• Familiar with tools like Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
• Are a proactive team player who can work independently
