Role Description

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our team for their mandatory NYSC primary assignment. This is a hybrid role, combining remote work with in-office collaboration in Lagos. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about social media, content creation.

Qualifications

• Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies.
• Create and curate engaging content for our social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok).
• Edit short-form video s for various platforms, ensuring they are of high quality and on-brand.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and conversations.
• Engage with our online community and respond to comments and messages.
Assist in drafting content calendars and campaign plans.

Requirement

• Must be a current NYSC Corps member seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
• Resides in Lagos State with the ability to commute for in-person collaboration.
• Demonstrable experience with video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• A strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
