Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale highway infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling project schedules, budgets, and logistics while supervising site project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in road engineering project management, and the ability to centrally manage multiple projects and site-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, control, and manage project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of site project managers to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Provide high-level coordination across departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supervise contractors and site-based teams, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Provide detailed reports on project progress, risks, and financials to senior leadership.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of highway infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in highway/road engineering project management.
- Strong expertise in overseeing multiple large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦600,000.00 - ₦800,000.00 per month
