- The Assistant Project Manager will support the successful delivery ofoffice fit-out and construction projects, ensuring works are executed within scope, budget, and timelines.
- The role requires strong coordination skills, stakeholder management, and meticulous attention to documentation and reporting, while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of end-to-end project activities.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, landlords, and client representatives to ensure seamless delivery.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and outstanding deliverables, escalating risks where necessary.
- Support review and approval of drawings, design variations, and contractual documentation.
- Prepare professional project correspondence, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Monitor contractor compliance with quality standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Facilitate site visits, inspections, and progress meetings.
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Project Manager in all aspects of project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2 - 4 years of proven experience inconstruction or fit-out project coordination.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency informal business English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity withMEPF worksand interior fit-out processes is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multinational clients and multidisciplinary consultants.
- Knowledge ofFIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
- Understanding of procurement, tendering, and vendor evaluation processes.
Salary Range
N300,000 - N400,000 Net Monthly
