Job Position: Senior Accountant

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyse, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using QuickBooks
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Computation of taxes(WHT, PIT,VAT)
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with account standards
- Manage general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Preparation of Investment and Customers schedule
- Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll-related tasks, including employee benefits and statutory deductions.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ICAN or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in finance or banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
