Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Secretary to support the administrative and clerical operations of a growing construction firm on Lagos Island. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role and must be capable of handling day-to-day office tasks with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize office filing systems (both physical and digital)
- Draft, edit, and manage correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars for executives
- Receive visitors and answer calls professionally and courteously
- Maintain confidential records and documents
- Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients as necessary
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Support project teams with documentation and coordination tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Prior experience in a construction or engineering company is an added advantage
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field
