SALES PROFESSIONAL ERP
To cover software opportunities in the Financial Services, Enterprise and Public Sectors. The role will be responsible for showcasing and driving the sales of Axendit’s ERP solutions in these sectors throughout Nigeria.
The ideal candidate should have proven ERP solution sales professional experience. He / She will be a team leader and self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as within a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing energy, enthusiasm and business insight to the organisation and offering new ideas and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customers’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
- Present and demonstrate Axendit solutions to technical and business decision makers in the industry
- Identify and develop new business through networking, courtesy, and follow-up calls
- Develop effective sales plans using proven sales methodology
- Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of Axendit’s systems and processes, and then documenting them
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software, articulately and confidently
- Market and promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature, and attending industry events
- Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems, and peripherals
- Provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks, both before and after the sale
- Advise on software features and how they can be applied to assist in a variety of contexts
- Meet sales targets set by the Company
- Own and execute on sales target
- Drive the sales team to meet individual targets
- Network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades
- Respond to tender documents, write proposals, reports and support literature
- Manage your own diary to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals
- Contribute to team or progress meetings and updating Management
- Identify opportunities across the industries covered and prioritizing among them to achieve best results
- Update the sales team and partner network on new software development
- Coordinate with the sales team to develop selling tools for presentations, demos and trade shows
- Suggest new product concepts, enhancements and potential new partnerships
- Ensure the Axendit Sales personnel are in sync with customer needs and goals
- Determine, advise and close software sales agreements with company executives.
- Uncover potential clients needs to sell solutions
- Assist sales through meetings, calls and presentations to maintain product positioning and strategies
- Handle in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors and market conditions
- Manage the industries' competitive knowledge to leverage sales cycle
- Maintain the full lifecycle of sales process from prospecting to closure
- Offer necessary product knowledge and technical expertise and translate into successful sales
- Publish go-to-market strategy, setting up product positioning, target customers and end users
- Reporting on sales progress weekly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3+ years of successful work experience as a salesperson and leader in the technology industry
- Minimum University Degree
- Oodo ERP sales and knowledge is an added advantage
- MBA desired but not essential
- Candidate is expected to possess industry knowledge in public and private sectors, particularly financial services
- Candidate is expected to perform independent research and analysis on Axendit Limited and its products and services
- Excellent demonstrations and Presentation skills
- Ability to identify business opportunities and proffer solutions that are of value to our customers through our products and services
- Solid Solution Selling, Territory Management and Account planning skills
- Ability to identify potential customers (customer acquisition management) and retain them as esteemed Axendit clients
- Team management experience
- Candidate should possess leadership skills and ability to work within a local and virtual team
- Experience in working with local and/or international technology companies as business partners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦650,000.00 per month
