With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, the company is expanding its market reach and is looking for a passionate and experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive its sales efforts.
Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to increase market share, drive revenue growth, and build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers within the edible oil market. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector, with a focus on edible oil products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market presence.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the target market – including wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and supermarkets.
- Build and manage strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify potential areas of growth and improvement.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and gather customer feedback.
- Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure sales strategies align with business goals.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
- Lead and manage sales representatives (if applicable), ensuring they meet individual and team targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in edible oil or FMCG/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of the edible oil market and sales distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦280,000.00 per month
