Job Summary:
The Market Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market penetration and drive product sales across assigned territories. This role requires a strong understanding of the edible oil market and the ability to build and maintain distributor and retail relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target new markets and sales opportunities to drive business growth.
- Manage and grow a network of distributors, wholesalers, and retailers within assigned regions.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report progress to the Head of Sales.
- Conduct market visits to ensure proper product visibility, pricing, and brand presence.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns and trade activities to support product sales.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market intelligence reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, specifically within edible oil or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently across sales territories.
- HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
