Job Description/Requirements
Our client, a leading player in the building materials industry, is seeking to hire a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager – Building Materials to drive dealer market development and sales growth in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling products such as glue, silicone, pipe fittings, and other related materials.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop the dealer market for building material products including mesh tape, waterproof tape, duct tape, acrylic sealant, white glue, and PTFE tape.
- Generate monthly customer- and product-wise sales forecasts.
- Gather and report detailed information on competitor products and pricing.
- Recommend market-driven pricing strategies and suggest new product opportunities to management.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and product specification sheets to clients when required. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and dealers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in building materials (e.g., glue, silicone, pipe fittings).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mature appearance and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
