Role Purpose

workbrook Referral Marketplace (WRM) Go-to-Market (GTM) Manager plays a crucial role in bringing WRM products and features to market successfully. This role sits at the intersection of product development, marketing, and sales, ensuring that products are positioned effectively and reach the right audience to drive adoption and revenue growth.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive GTM strategies for WRM product launches, features, and market expansion initiatives. This involves defining target audiences, crafting compelling value propositions, identifying distribution channels, and developing marketing and sales tactics.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, understand market trends, and inform strategic decisions.
  • WRM Positioning and Messaging: Collaborate with product teams to translate product features into benefits and craft clear, concise messaging and positioning strategies that resonate with the target audience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with relevant teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of GTM plans.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop tools, training materials, and resources to equip sales teams with the knowledge and materials needed to effectively sell the product.
  • Launch Planning and Execution: Manage launch plans, including timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to ensure smooth and successful product introductions.
  • Performance Measurement and Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and data (e.g., customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, market share, customer satisfaction) to evaluate the success of GTM initiatives and identify areas for optimization.
  • Customer Insights: Gather customer feedback and insights to refine the GTM approach and contribute to product improvements.


Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, product management, or similar roles, ideally within the software industry. Experience in scaled SaaS environments is a plus.


Skills

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute scalable GTM strategies that drive revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities to effectively convey complex ideas to various audiences.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Market Analysis: Expertise in market analysis, customer segmentation, and channel strategy development.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies and plans in response to evolving market conditions and customer feedback.


Additional Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the HR software industry i.e. enterprise software, B2B, B2C is preferred.
  • Growth Mindset: A learning and growth mindset is valuable in this role.


Role Type

Contract - 40 hours per Week - Fully Remote


Remuneration

NGN400,000 net per month
