The role: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Events Marketing (EMEA), the Regional Marketing Specialist, Events & Conferences, EMEA will be responsible for the marketing campaigns and delivery of a range of events in the EMEA region, varying in size.
You will plan and manage end to end prospecting and client focused events, including event operations and logistics , stakeholder management and onsite delivery. The role requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders within the business including sales along with our experts across various functions within the division . You will also create and deploy comprehensive marketing plans to promote and attract delegates to both our free events and paid conferences.
The Team: The EMEA regional events marketing team is responsible for the planning and execution of various marketing led events and conferences to create an exceptional customer experience and drive revenue and engagement for the wider business. Events are a core means of connecting with our customers and prospective clients across the EMEA region, and we work closely with all business lines within the division to achieve our goals and business priorities.
Responsibilities :
End to end management of marketing led events; including venue sourcing and liaison, agenda development, delegate acquisition and onsite delivery where required
End to end management of 3rd party events; including negotiating with 3rd party event organizer, speaker allocation, booth development and set up, meeting room development and set up and onsite delivery where required
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for free events and conferences including, email, website optimization, customer data platforms, search engines, telemarketing and social media marketing across multiple systems.
Work closely with our sales teams and other functions within the business to deliver events and audience acquisition campaigns that reflect the business and client needs
Work with the Creative team and external agencies to create and maintain compelling marketing collateral; email copy, landing pages, onsite branding assets, online conference registrations, manage search engine marketing and social networking media initiatives; analyze web site user activity reports on a regular basis .
Ensure stakeholders are well informed throughout the event cycle through reporting including analysis of campaign tactics and financial reporting where required
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in English and French is required , with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both languages verbally and in writing.

Ideally 3+ years experience in managing multiple marketing campaigns and events concurrently while clearly communicating timelines and expectations.
A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, with proven experience in event marketing with operations or production.
Proven experience in delivering events from inception to onsite execution, with the ability to create audience acquisition strategies using various marketing tactics.
A successful track record of delegate acquisition marketing campaigns, with responsibility for performance and the ability to adjust strategies to meet attendance and financial goals is necessary.
Experience with CRMs such as Marketo is preferred, including proficiency in building emails, landing pages, target audiences, and program flows for digital marketing campaigns.
A positive, customer-focused attitude and motivation to manage multiple events simultaneously are crucial.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities are essential, along with the capability to analyze market trends to develop effective marketing plans.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiation, coupled with strong communication skills and confidence in leading discussions, is essential.
