Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
- Contact defaulting customers via phone calls, emails, visits, or formal letters to demand payment.
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements in line with company policy.
- Prepare and issue demand notices and reminders to debtors.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and recovery progress.
- Conduct field visits for skip tracing and asset recovery, where applicable.
- Recommend accounts for legal action or write-off after exhausting recovery procedures.
- Liaise with legal teams and external collection agencies when necessary.
- Prepare weekly and monthly recovery performance reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant debt recovery laws.
