Role Summary
We’re hiring a high-initiative Personal Assistant who also manages social media for a senior ministry leader. You’ll handle day-to-day admin, calendars, travel, meetings and documentation while owning content planning, posting and community engagement across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Expect a fast, mission-driven environment with services, prayer meetings, conferences and media appearances—sometimes in the evenings or on weekends. (, )
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive/Personal Assistance (60%)
- Calendar & Scheduling: Maintain a dynamic calendar (services, counseling, events, travel, recordings). Confirm venues, briefings and run-of-show.
- Travel & Logistics: Arrange flights/road transport, accommodation, protocol, honorarium paperwork; prepare itineraries & packs.
- Meeting Support: Draft agendas, take minutes, track action items; maintain follow-up with church departments, event hosts and partners.
- Document Control: Prepare letters, memos, speaking notes, message outlines; manage files and versioning (Google Drive/OneDrive).
- Liaison & Gatekeeping: Manage WhatsApp/phone/email inflow; prioritize with discretion; maintain excellent relationships with hosts and congregants.
- Errands & Office Ops: Light procurement, vendor coordination, expense tracking, receipts, reimbursements.
- Confidentiality & Ethics: Handle sensitive pastoral data with discretion (NDPR-aware handling of personal information).
Social Media & Digital (40%)
- Strategy & Calendar: Build a monthly content calendar aligned to sermon themes, events and campaigns; maintain brand voice.
- Content Production: Draft captions; cut short clips from sermons/teachings for Reels/Shorts; basic video editing (CapCut/Premiere/Rush), thumbnails (Canva).
- Publishing & Live: Schedule posts via Meta Business Suite; support live streams, prayer sessions and announcements; upload and optimize to YouTube (titles, descriptions, tags, chapters).
- Community Management: Moderate comments/DMs with pastoral tone; escalate prayer requests or counseling items appropriately.
- Analytics & Reports: Track reach, views, watch time, follower growth, CTR; produce weekly dashboards and insights; propose iterations.
- Rights & Compliance: Ensure music/asset licensing, photo/video consent, privacy controls and data protection practices.
Ideal Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- Experience: 1–3 years in executive assistance, communications or social media; interns with strong portfolios are welcome.
- Writing: Clear, error-free, spiritually sensitive copy; excellent English; Yoruba or Hausa a plus.
- Digital Skills: Meta Business Suite, Instagram Reels, YouTube Studio; Canva; basic video editing (CapCut/Premiere/Rush); Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
- People & Ops: Organized, punctual, calm under pressure; excellent follow-through; discreet and trustworthy.
- Availability: Comfortable with rotating schedules (some evenings/weekends), short-notice travel and event days.
- Mission Fit: Resonates with evangelical/Pentecostal ministry context and ethos of discipleship and community impact.
What Success Looks Like (KPIs)
- Admin: 0–1 scheduling conflicts/month; 100% of trips/logistics confirmed 48 hrs prior; actions closed on time.
- Content: 12–20 posts/month across platforms; 4–8 short-form videos/month; consistent brand voice.
- Growth/Engagement: Platform growth and reach steadily trending up (reported weekly); median response time to DMs/comments < 12 hours.
- Quality: On-time deliverables; minimal typos; clean metadata; organized drive.
Work Conditions
- Type: Full-time, on-site in Lagos; some remote hours as agreed.
- Compensation: ₦120,000–₦150,000 per month, with airtime/data stipend and local travel reimbursements.
- Hours: 5 days/week + services/events as scheduled (time off in lieu when applicable).
Tools Provided: Official email line, shared drives, platform access; additional tools by approval.
