- Must maintain high quality standards in food preparation and managing the Kitchen
- Organize, Train and Motivate kitchen staff
- Develop menus in line with customer type and within available resources.
- Maintain and exhibit a culture of cleanliness within and outside the premises.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture and presentation
- Control cost and minimize waste.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Train aspiring Chefs
- Fulfil financial returns expected from the business
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in culinary education (with three years of work experience). Or Secondary School certificate (with seven years work experience in not more than two organizations)
- Must exude a culture of cleanliness at all times
- Must be experienced in pastry production
- Must be Alpha Numeric
- Must be able to handle pressure
- Strong communication skills is critical for this position
- Staying around Ajah is an added advantage.
