Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to lead the execution of our seasonal and year-round corporate gifting and décor services. This role will oversee daily operations including project rollout, inventory control, supply chain activities, and coordination across internal departments. The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables are met on time, within budget, and in alignment with brand standards. The role also involves directly managing client expectations, especially within the oil and gas sector. Strong leadership, people management capabilities, presentation skills, and the ability to leverage technology to drive performance and manage operations are critical for success in this role.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination & Implementation
- Lead the planning and execution of corporate festive installations, ensuring high-quality outcomes across multiple client locations.
- Develop detailed project schedules and oversee end-to-end logistics, from procurement to final delivery.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Zoho Projects, Trello, or Asana) to track, assign, and monitor all phases of operational tasks.
- Work closely with the Client Services team to translate client briefs into actionable project plans.
2. Inventory & Asset Oversight
- Manage décor assets and branded gift items across multiple storage locations.
- Maintain a live inventory system, ensuring availability, safety, and condition of items.
- Monitor usage trends and initiate restocking or asset refurbishment ahead of peak seasons.
3. Team Management & Cross-Department Supervision
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to field teams, artisans, and department heads including Procurement, Finance & Admin, and Business Development.
- Facilitate collaboration among teams to ensure aligned goals and seamless operational flow.
- Conduct onboarding, performance reviews, and capacity-building initiatives to support productivity.
- Promote a strong culture of teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement across departments.
4. Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, decorators, transporters, and artisans to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee procurement processes, including pricing negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Ensure materials and logistics align with project specifications and client expectations.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Manage corporate client relationships, especially within the oil and gas industry.
- Serve as the key operational contact for high-profile clients, ensuring service excellence and project satisfaction.
- Resolve client issues promptly and maintain long-term engagement.
6. Quality Assurance & Operational Compliance
- Enforce quality standards for installations and supply items delivered to clients.
- Implement risk assessments, HSE guidelines, and project safety protocols on all sites.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
7. Process & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, work schedules, and execution logs.
- Generate performance and resource utilization reports for management review.
- Manage work orders, invoicing timelines, RFQs, and ensure proper documentation for OEM engagements.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs for operations, logistics, and field activity execution.
Requirements:
- Education: BSc/HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years in operations or logistics management, preferably in event production, retail supply, or seasonal business.
- Certifications: Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Must have: Proven experience managing clients in the oil and gas sector is essential.
- Strong advantage: Industry knowledge in Oil & Gas operations/logistics.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to work with project management tools such as Zoho Projects or similar software is highly required.
- Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, driving performance, and managing staff and departmental goals.
- Additional: Practical experience with managing work orders, RFQs, OEM documentation, invoicing processes, and making professional presentations is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
