Job Title: Oil Marketer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Oil Marketer to join our team in Ikoyi, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling petroleum products to new and existing clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of the downstream oil and gas sector, market trends, and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote the sale of petroleum products (PMS, AGO, DPK, LPG, etc.)
- Identify new business opportunities and actively generate leads to grow the client base.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with corporate and industrial clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and market intelligence updates.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in oil marketing, preferably in the downstream petroleum sector.
- Proven sales track record in petroleum product marketing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the oil and gas market in Nigeria, especially within Lagos.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ikoyi, Lagos.
