We are a fast-growing Chinese automotive brand dealer expanding our footprint in
Nigeria. To support our ambitious growth plans, we’re seeking a dynamic Sales
Manager to drive market penetration and establish our brand as a key player in
Lagos and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion & Sales Leadership
Develop and execute short-term (3-6 month) market penetration
strategies to rapidly grow brand awareness and market share.
Build and manage a high-performing dealer network, securing partnerships
with local distributors and corporate clients (e.g., rental companies,
mining/logistics firms).
Identify and capitalize on government procurement opportunities and bulk
purchase deals.
Lead end-to-end sales processes, including pricing negotiations, contract
finalization, and delivery coordination, ensuring smooth transactions and
secure payments.
2. Local Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
Leverage and expand existing local networks (automotive associations,
financial institutions, media) to accelerate sales growth.
Cultivate relationships with key influencers, including tribal leaders, business
councils, and industry bodies, to strengthen brand localization.
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy Optimization
Continuously monitor competitor activities (e.g., Toyota, Kia pricing/promotions) and adapt strategies to outperform rivals.
Analyze local consumer trends (e.g., SUV/pickup demand) and provide actionable insights to HQ for product and marketing adjustments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
✅ 5+ years in automotive sales, with a proven track record in Nigeria (experience
with Chinese brands is a plus). We are open to candidates from non-automotive
backgrounds if they possess strong connections to high-net-worth individuals
(e.g., luxury retail, private banking, real estate)
✅ Established local network – dealers, corporate clients, and auto-financing
partners.
✅ Exceptional negotiation & communication skills – able to close high-value
deals and build long-term relationships.
