Our cient is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid-Level Django Developer to join our client’s growing development team. This is a fully remote role that offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
As a Django Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Django and related technologies. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web applications that meet user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Django (and Django REST Framework).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a backend developer using Django.
- Proficiency in Python programming and object-oriented design.
- Experience with RESTful API development using Django REST Framework.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and containerized development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or asynchronous task management.
