Position Summary
We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Marketing Automation Specialist with 2–3 years of experience to join our marketing team. This role is critical in driving our customer engagement, nurturing prospects, and supporting revenue growth through well-executed email campaigns and automation workflows. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or Mailchimp to create impactful campaigns, streamline communication processes, and improve overall marketing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and deploy email marketing campaigns, drip sequences, and automation workflows to support lead generation, customer onboarding, and lifecycle marketing.
- Own and manage the marketing automation platform to execute campaigns and ensure seamless integration with CRM systems, websites, and other tools.
- Segment audiences based on behavior, engagement, lifecycle stage, or demographics to deliver personalized experiences and relevant content.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content blocks, send times, and CTAs to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversion rates.
- Monitor and ensure high email deliverability, compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing leads to align messaging and branding across all email communications.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using built-in analytics, UTM parameters, and third-party tools to measure KPIs like open rate, CTR, bounce rate, conversions, and unsubscribe rate.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive campaign reports and dashboards to communicate performance trends and actionable insights.
- Maintain and update lead scoring rules and lifecycle stages within the automation platform in coordination with sales and marketing goals. Stay current on marketing automation best practices, new platform features, and emerging tools or trends to continuously optimize strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Pardot, or Klaviyo.
- Proficient in building and managing multi-step automation workflows and complex email sequences.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, subscriber segmentation, and behavioral targeting.
- Experience integrating automation tools with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Salesforce) and web platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
- Strong grasp of analytics and reporting with the ability to derive insights and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus.
- Understanding of lead nurturing, customer journeys, and sales funnels.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to email marketing (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL). Experience with list hygiene and managing email databases to ensure high deliverability and minimal bounce/spam rates.
