- We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Officer to manage the efficient movement and storage of goods and materials.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery, managing inventory, and liaising with vendors, suppliers, and transport providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
- Utilize logistics IT systems or databases to optimize procedures
- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
- Prepare accurate reports for management
- Maintain proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods
- Liaise and negotiate with transport companies, suppliers, and customers
- Enforce health and safety procedures within logistics operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Solid knowledge of logistics procedures and systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g., ERP) is an advantage
- Familiarity with the Lagos road network and traffic patterns is a plus.
Salary
N200,000 per month.
