An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated kitchen professional to join a private residence in a South-Western Nigerian state (Ekiti) as a live-in chef and household manager. We're looking for someone passionate about creating exquisite local dishes and ensuring the smooth running of the home on behalf of our client, especially when the owners are away.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing a diverse range of Nigerian local delicacies, with a strong emphasis on Niger Delta and Yoruba cuisines.
- Planning and executing daily meals, ensuring high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Overseeing household security and maintenance when owners are out of town, ensuring the property remains intact and well-cared for.
- Coordinating with other household staff to ensure seamless operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven expertise in preparing a wide variety of Nigerian dishes, specifically local delicacies from the Niger Delta and Yoruba regions.
- A strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness, with the ability to manage a household independently.
- AVAILABLE to RELOCATE from Port Harcourt VERY SOON by the end of this July 2025. All relocation expenses will be taken care of.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliable, professional, and with a positive, proactive attitude.
