• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, vascular, musculoskeletal, etc.) as requested.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and answer their questions.
• Position patients correctly and ensure radiation safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Assess the quality of images and make adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment regularly.
• Ensure accurate documentation and secure storage of radiographic images and patient records.
• Provide preliminary findings to the attending physician or radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
• Participate in departmental quality control and assurance processes.
• Monitor inventory of consumables and report any needs to the supervisor.
Stay up-to-date with advances in radiologic and sonographic technology and procedures.

• B.Sc. in Radiography or Medical Imaging Science from a recognized institution.
• Valid license with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) or equivalent.
• Certification or training in Sonography/Ultrasound Imaging is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience
• Proficiency in operating X-ray and ultrasound machines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
