We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Licensed Environmental Health Officer / Technician
Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Inspecting business & residential premises to check they meet health and hygiene standards
- Investigating complaints about noise, pests and other environmental health problems
- Attending environmental health incidents and following up with further investigations to make sure that those responsible are held to account
- Advising the employer about matters of environmental health
- Keeping records and compiling reports
- Delivering training
- Serving legal notices
- Preparing and providing evidence in court.
Requirements
- Has a current license
- Resides within or around the FCT or is ready to relocate
- Possesses strong and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Able to analyse and solve problems
- Able to keep up to date with environmental legislation.
