I.T Support Service Officer

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: I.T Support Service Officer
Job Location: Magodo, Lagos
Reports To: IT Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Set up and configure workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests via phone, email, or in-person.
• Maintain and manage user accounts, permissions, and system access in Active Directory and Office 365.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of staff from an IT perspective.
• Provide assistance during technical deployments and events, including video conferencing.
• Document procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
• Assist in deploying software and updates across devices.
• Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using the company’s IT ticketing system.
• Collaborate with other IT team members on infrastructure and security improvements.
• Proficient in Active Directory and asset inventory management
• Restaurant Automation: Setting up and configuration of POS, server, kitchen display system
• Hotel Automation: IPTV setup, configuration and integration
• Develop comprehensive training materials to ensure consistent knowledge across the technical support team.
• Monitored team performance and facilitated the necessary training programs to help maintain a high level of competence among support staff.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.
• Experience with Active Directory, remote desktop support, and antivirus management.
• Good understanding of IT security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or CCNA.
• Familiarity with cloud-based tools such as Azure, Google Workspace, or Slack.
• Previous experience supporting users in a tech company or startup environment.
