Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Underwriter located in Lagos. The Insurance Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, determining coverage amounts, and setting premiums. Daily tasks include analyzing risk, reviewing insurance policies, communicating with clients and agents, and making underwriting decisions. The role requires precision in financial assessments and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Underwriting skills
- Experience and knowledge in the Insurance industry
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proficiency in Finance and risk assessment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in evaluating data
- Ability to work independently and onsite
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, or a related field Prior experience as an Underwriter is a plus
