About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer to design, develop, and deliver interactive, simulation-based training content for our products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-standard eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Captivate, and will be skilled at producing SCORM-compliant modules for deployment in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development
- Design and develop engaging, scenario-based, and interactive eLearning content for product training.
- Create realistic simulations, branching scenarios, and gamified learning experiences.
- Convert complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand, visually appealing learning materials.
- Instructional Design
- Apply instructional design principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to create effective learning experiences.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct needs analysis to identify learner requirements and training objectives.
- Technical Delivery
- Ensure all training content is SCORM/xAPI compliant and functions seamlessly in LMS platforms.
- Integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, and video to enhance engagement.
- Test and troubleshoot courses across devices and browsers for compatibility.
- Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate learner feedback and analytics to enhance training effectiveness.
- Stay updated with emerging eLearning technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in eLearning design and development.
- Tools & Technologies:
- Must Have: Articulate Storyline 360
- Nice to Have: Adobe Captivate , Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Learning Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of SCORM and xAPI standards.
- Ability to create high-quality graphics, animations, and simulations.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Platform savvy: Knows best practices for YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience developing software simulations and product training modules.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
