We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests.
An individual who can manage the flow of the dining room and ensure a positive first impression for every guest.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival.
Manage the restaurant's seating chart and reservations to optimize seating efficiency and customer flow.
Escort guests to their tables and present them with menus.
Answer the phone and manage a waitlist during peak hours.
Provide accurate wait times and seating arrangements to guests.
Assist servers and other staff as needed, such as bringing drinks to the table or clearing a table.
Address any guest inquiries or complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a hostess in a customer-facing role is a plus.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, calm, and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Familiarity with relevant software.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
