Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HSE Officer who will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards within the factory. The role ensures that all production activities comply with applicable HSE policies and regulations to create a safe and hazard-free work environment for all operatives and factory workers.
- Minimum Qualification : OND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 2 years
- Working Hours : Rotating Schedule
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce HSE policies in line with legal and company standards.
Identify hazards through regular inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Report, investigate, and document workplace incidents and near misses.
Conduct safety inductions and promote a culture of safety through regular trainings.
Ensure proper use of PPE and supervise safe disposal of factory waste.
Maintain accurate HSE records and submit periodic reports to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Service, or any related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an HSE officer
- Professional Certification is a plus
- Ability to train and influence staff at all levels
- Attention to detail and high level of accountability
- Effective communication skills
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
