Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the TV station’s content, programming, and operations.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase viewership, audience engagement, and brand visibility.
- Supervise the production and scheduling of high-quality television content that aligns with the station’s editorial policy and market trends.
- Oversee all departments including news, entertainment, production, technical, and programming.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of producers, directors, editors, on-air talent, and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and revenue strategies, including advertising and sponsorship initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics, ratings, and audience feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the station at industry events, stakeholder meetings, and partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the media or broadcast sector, with at least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing a successful TV station or major broadcast department.
- In-depth knowledge of the television broadcast ecosystem, including content development, technical operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving media landscape.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
