Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop a 3-year business plan, including revenue forecasts and pricing models for public and bespoke training programs.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and innovation across both the organization and the client ecosystem.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of trainers, instructional designers, and training coordinators
- Design and deliver comprehensive learning journeys, including onboarding, advanced certifications, and leadership development across domains such as cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, data, and product.
- Oversee the development and rollout of a Learning Management System (LMS), including sourcing of vendors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and in-house content creation.
- Ensure training program quality through learner assessments, feedback collection, and tracking of certification success rates.
- Achieve quarterly targets for revenue, enrollment, and profit margins; report key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) to executive leadership.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with financial institutions, professional bodies, academic institutions, and regulatory agencies.
- Represent the Training Institute at industry events and conferences; pitch solutions and close deals with enterprise clients.
- Develop and implement a company-wide training strategy aligned with organizational goals, especially in technology and product domains.
- Lead the design and delivery of onboarding programs, technical upskilling, certifications, and leadership development tailored for engineering, IT, product, and support teams.
- Identify skills gaps through regular assessments and propose training interventions.
- Work closely with department heads, product managers, and engineers to understand evolving training needs and technology trends.
- Build and manage a team of trainers, instructional designers, and training coordinators.
- Source and manage external training vendors and platforms (e.g., Coursera, Udemy, Pluralsight).
- Oversee the development and maintenance of an internal Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent platforms.
- Measure training outcomes using KPIs and report ROI to leadership. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science, IT, Education, HR, or related field.
- 7–10 years’ L&D experience (min. 3 years in a senior/lead role within tech).
- Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle, cloud, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
- Proven track record building scalable training strategies and hitting commercial targets.
- Proficiency with modern learning tech (LMS, virtual labs, Coursera/Udemy/Pluralsight, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder‑management, and project delivery skills.
- Flexibility to travel regionally and meet clients face‑to‑face. “Whatever‑it‑takes” mindset, comfortable owning P&L and revenue quotas.
Preferred
- Professional certifications: CPTM, ATD, CIPD, or equivalent.
- Experience designing Agile or micro-learning programs. Exposure to startup or hyper-growth tech environments.
