Job Opportunity: Head of Secondary School
Location: GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 monthly (with accommodation)
Global Skills Recruitment Agency is hiring on behalf of a reputable international school in Port Harcourt. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Secondary School to lead academic and administrative functions, promote excellence in teaching and learning, and drive school improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic leadership and oversee daily operations of the secondary section.
• Mentor and evaluate teaching staff through observations and training.
• Drive student enrollment through effective outreach and community engagement.
• Ensure high academic standards using quality assurance processes.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Foster discipline, staff development, and a strong school culture.
Maintain effective communication with parents and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• B.Ed., B.Sc. + PGDE, or equivalent in Education or related field.
• Minimum 7 years teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of educational technology and 21st-century pedagogy.
Demonstrated success in academic performance and school development.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management.
• Strategic thinking and marketing acumen.
• Curriculum planning and execution.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EdTech platforms, and school management software.
