Job Title: Secondary School Teacher
Location: Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos (Proximity to location is essential)
Salary: ₦100,000 per month
Job Description:
We're seeking a qualified and passionate secondary school teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth in secondary school students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Develop and implement curriculum activities, schemes of work, and lesson plans that align with school goals and objectives
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to parents/guardians
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular links and projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events
Requirements:
- NCE or B.Ed in relevant subject area (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of subject area and curriculum implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
