Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales – Renewable Energy for the Northern Region of Nigeria. This individual will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of sales strategies that will drive business growth in the renewable energy sector.
Suppose you have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the renewable energy market, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the energy or infrastructure sector. In that case, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the renewable energy sector in the Northern region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and clients within the renewable energy space.
- Lead the sales team and manage client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
- Drive revenue generation across renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other energy solutions.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track KPIs, and report on performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent Prime Powerco Limited in the Northern region and ensure our brand is strongly positioned within the market.
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction. Foster a high-performing sales team through mentorship, training, and coaching.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales within the renewable energy or energy sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of success in sales and revenue generation in the renewable energy market.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy landscape in Nigeria, particularly in the Northern region.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team. Goal-oriented with a focus on results and growth.
