Job Summary
The Head, Outsourcing oversees the delivery of HR Outsourcing operations andservice delivery covering the guard force and other outsourced roles. This includes workforce planning; recruitment and onboarding; employee services; employee engagement; and other support services that ensure high performance, employee engagement, and retention levels to facilitate achievement of client strategic objectives. The job holder will manage clients and other strategic relationships for the best business outcomes including portfolio retention and expansion, and provide technical support for sales and business development.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Forecast staffing needs and maintain a strong pipeline of operatives and other roles across locations.
- Design and implement effective recruitment and sourcing strategies nationwide.
- Lead recruitment of best-fit cadets and ensure seamless onboarding and deployment.
- Articulate and drive a vibrant and compelling Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain operatives and staff.
- Deploy strategies to address short-manning and minimize income loss and business risk.
- Use analytics and metrics to support planning and decision-making.
- Design and implement strategies and policies for engagement and retention,including performance management, learning, career development, and communication.
- Build a superior guarding workforce aligned with company values and culture.
- Ensure efficient, responsive employee services and positive employee experience.
- Oversee wellbeing initiatives and recommend welfare/reward programs to improve engagement.
- Develop career planning tools like grade levels, career paths, and league tables.
- Coordinate with Operations and Training Academy to upskill operatives before deployment.
- Manage HR operations and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and review supporting HR policies and processes.
- Drive operational improvements and adopt best-fit systems/technologies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal protocols.
- Manage a robust guard database with up-to-date information, including guarantors.
- Ensure strict vetting compliance for client safety and operational integrity.
- Oversee a responsive helpdesk and communication platform.
- Offer HR subject matter expertise to support operations and business strategy.
- Provide relevant information and content to aid marketing and business development.
- Build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Support the engagement of clients and prospects for optimal business outcomes.
- Offer strategic insights during sales and business development efforts.
- Contribute to budgeting, planning, and optimal resource management.
- Monitor and track metrics related to recruitment, deployment, exits, retention,short-manning, etc.
- Maintain dashboards and generate both periodic and ad-hoc reports.
- Produce insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HR operations team.
- Manage performance, support staff development, and mentor team members.
- Oversee performance management, ensuring team members have SMART KPIs and deliver on expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- HR certifications such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, etc.
- Minimum 8-10 years of HR experience, including deep experience in outsourcing, HR operations, recruitment of large employee pools, and use of HRIS systems.
- Client engagement and business development support experience.

Pay: ₦1,000,000.00 - ₦1,500,000.00 per month
