Guaranty Business Solutions: Our client, a reputable and well-established hotel in Owerri, Imo State, is seeking to urgently hire a competent and experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead its housekeeping department and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Job Summary:
The Head of Housekeeping will oversee all housekeeping operations, supervise staff, and ensure the hotel rooms and public areas are maintained to a 5-star standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all housekeeping staff and activities
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas daily
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping team performance
- Maintain housekeeping inventory and ensure stock availability
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety standards
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets and schedules
- Liaise with maintenance and front office teams for operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality Management or related field
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping (4-star or 5-star hotel preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be well-groomed, professional, and guest-focused
