Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Salary: ₦800,000 – ₦1,000,000/month

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance to support the CFO in managing all financial operations of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost and management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, investment analysis, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. This role demands a strong leader who can drive profitability, ensure financial sustainability, and contribute to long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage working capital effectively, focusing on inventory, receivables, and cash flow optimization.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Assess investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and all applicable financial regulations.
- Oversee tax planning and risk management activities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Monitor key financial metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- An MBA is required.
- Professional certification (ICAN or ACCA) is mandatory.
- At least 10 years of senior-level financial management experience, ideally in the Retail, Banking, Manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, and IFRS standards.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and risk management practices.
- Proven leadership experience managing large, multicultural teams.
