Job Objective
Are you a strategic leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and shaping winning commercial strategies?
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Commercial to lead our commercial operations across the public sector, power sector, and enterprise solutions. and SaaS businesses. This role is pivotal in expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring profitability across diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets across multiple sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive sustainable growth. Lead pricing strategies, proposals, and negotiations to maximize revenue.
2. Business Development & Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the public sector, power sector, enterprise, and SaaS industries.
- Oversee bidding, tendering, and proposal processes for government and enterprise contracts. Manage customer satisfaction and ensure delivery of value-driven solutions.
3. Market Expansion & Partnerships
- Drive expansion into new markets and sectors, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Establish strategic alliances with technology partners, service providers, and government agencies.
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial, sales, and business development teams to achieve set goals. Implement KPIs and performance metrics to track progress and improve outcomes.
5. Financial Performance & Reporting
- Oversee revenue forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance analysis. Provide strategic input on product pricing, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.

- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-Centric: Strong focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term client relationships.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with CRM tools, sales analytics software, and staying up to date with the latest industry trends in SaaS and Utilities.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and industry trends.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills is a must-have
- Commercial and ambitious mindset Excellent networking skills
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years in sales management, with a proven track record of success in SaaS, Enterprise, Public Sector, Utilities/Power companies. Proven experience working in the technology industry, B2B, government, and utility contracting and start–up companies.
