They are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented Head of Business Development and Marketing to lead their growth initiatives and elevate their brand presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and overseeing all marketing efforts to attract and retain members.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company's market share and reach.
- Identify and cultivate new revenue streams, including corporate partnerships, B2B collaborations, community programs, and strategic alliances.
- Lead the identification, negotiation, and closure of new client accounts and partnerships (e.g., corporate wellness programs, hotel partnerships, residential estate collaborations).
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and untapped growth opportunities within the fitness sector.
- Develop and manage the business development pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and conversions.
- Collaborate with the management team to set ambitious but achievable business development targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Represent the client at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and build relationships.
- Marketing
- Formulate and implement a cohesive, multi-channel marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and brand values.
- Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
- Manage and optimize the company's website and other digital platforms to enhance user experience and drive engagement.
- Develop compelling marketing content (e.g., articles, videos, testimonials, promotional materials) that resonates with our target audience.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for new program launches, membership drives, and special event.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal ROI for all marketing activities.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
- Oversee public relations efforts, including media outreach and brand reputation management.
- Develop and maintain strong brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
- Conduct customer segmentation and develop targeted marketing messages to different audience groups.
- Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of business development and marketing professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the department.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, fitness, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on business development and marketing performance for senior management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree (MBA) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in business development and marketing.
- Demonstrable experience within the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry is highly preferred and a significant advantage.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing growth strategies and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, and experience managing digital campaigns.
- Experience in market research, strategic planning, and competitive analysis.
- A portfolio of successful marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
