Salary: Competitive Gross Monthly + Highly Rewarding Commissions + Incentives
Commission structure
In addition to your salary and performance-based incentives, you earn 1% of the total sales volume when the business development team collectively meets or exceeds 50% of their monthly target.
For example, if a 10-person BD team hits a ₦21,000,000 monthly target:
₦200,000 + ₦2,100,000 = ₦2,300,000 (total monthly earnings)
Role Overview
Branda is looking for a strategic, performance-focused Head of Sales to lead and empower our growing business development team. This role is not about direct selling, it’s about mentoring, managing, and supporting the sales team to increase conversion rates, close high-value deals, and consistently exceed their targets in the Branding and Tech space.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass targets.Set and monitor KPIs for team members and drive consistent performance improvement.
Provide strategic oversight and support for closing high-value deals, without directly owning accounts.
Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing business development team.
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.
Foster partnerships with complementary businesses to create new revenue channels.
Support lead generation efforts across digital and physical touchpoints.
Collaborate closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives and improve ROI.
Represent Branda at strategic exhibitions, client meetings, and relevant industry events.
Deliver clear, actionable sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
Ensure customer satisfaction standards remain high to foster loyalty and referrals.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, including 3 years in a leadership, mentorship or team management role to aid individual team target achievements.Experience in real estate or a high-touch B2B industry is a strong advantage.
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
Proven track record of supporting team-based deal closure strategies.
Excellent communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
Deep understanding of sales funnels, lead management, and CRM tools.
Bachelor’s degree required; additional certifications in sales or leadership are a plus.
A high level of integrity, responsibility, and team-first mindset.
