Position Overview
Substrat is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer/Admin Officer to support both the visual communication and day-to-day administrative functions of the firm. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong flair for design and branding, excellent administrative and organizational capabilities, and a willingness to travel and work on weekends when required. This role combines graphic design responsibilities with administrative duties to support smooth and professional business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- * Create visually appealing graphics for promotional materials, social media, print, and advertising (flyers, banners, digital creatives, etc.).
- * Manage and grow the company’s presence across social media platforms through content design, scheduling, and engagement.
- * Provide personal assistance and administrative support to the Managing Director.
- * Assist in the coordination and execution of client engagements and internal projects.
- * Handle procurement and logistics including travel arrangements and supply management.
- * Support advertising and promotional activities including billboard design and printing coordination.
- * Drive the Managing Director to official functions and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
- * Assist in weekend or out-of-town projects/engagements as required.
- * Perform other administrative duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
- * Maintain a professional appearance and excellent communication with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- * Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- * 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably combining creative and administrative tasks.
- * Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, or similar applications.
- * Strong social media management skills, including content creation and basic analytics.
- * Willingness to travel and work on weekends as needed.
- * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- * Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle confidential information professionally.
- * Basic troubleshooting and familiarity with office technology is an added advantage.
