JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager, Commercial Operations will lead our commercial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing sales and marketing efforts, and ensuring the company's financial and business operations sustainability to match the business promise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and Implement Commercial Strategies: Develop and execute commercial plans to drive business growth, increase revenue, drive business operations and improve profitability.
- Sales and Marketing: Lead sales and marketing efforts, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
- Contract Management: Negotiate, manage, and review contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in commercial operations, sales, marketing, Engineering Project or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. M.Sc., MBA or relevant postgraduate degree and COREN is a MUST.
- It's important to have garnered experience engaging or working in a multinational or large corporate environment especially in the area of project, preferably in manufacturing or Oil and Gas sectors.
- Familiarity with financial management software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Knowledge of contract management software and tools.
- Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Presentation and analytic skill with a good grasp of technology and innovations is a great advantage.
PAY
18,000,000 NGN gross per Anum with other performance bonuses.
