Job Description:
As a Full Stack Web Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a comprehensive web platform tailored to importation and logistics. You’ll work closely with the business founder to develop tools for inventory tracking, supplier management, order workflows, and logistics integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom web applications to manage import orders, shipments, and inventory.
- Build user dashboards for admin, warehouse staff, and suppliers.
- Integrate APIs for shipping/logistics services and payment gateways.
- Develop responsive interfaces for document uploads (e.g., invoices, customs forms).
- Implement features such as order tracking, notifications, and user permissions.
- Maintain and improve code quality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with the founder to translate operational needs into technical features.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js).
- Experience with backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or PHP.
- Proficient with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiar with deploying applications on AWS, Heroku, DigitalOcean, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or ERP system development.
- Familiarity with international shipping processes and customs documentation.
- Knowledge of user role systems and access control.
- Experience integrating logistics APIs (e.g., FedEx, DHL, freight forwarders).
