Job Summary
As Floor Supervisor, you will oversee daily restaurant floor operations, coordinate staff, manage guest relations, and ensure that service standards are consistently met. You’ll be the bridge between the service team, kitchen, and management, ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise waiters, runners, and other floor staff during service
- Assign and monitor daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency
- Maintain high service standards and handle guest complaints professionally
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Monitor table settings, cleanliness, and overall restaurant ambiance
- Train, mentor, and motivate floor staff to maintain professionalism and product knowledge
- Support opening and closing duties, including cashing up and floor preparation
- Assist in managing reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a restaurant supervisor or senior waiter in a busy dining environment
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and service protocols
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
