About the Role:

Our client in the agricultural industry is seeking a hands-on and reliable Farm Maintenance Officer to oversee and manage plumbing, basic electrical and general maintenance of the farm facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in plumbing and basic knowledge of electrical systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems (pipes, drainage, fixtures, water supply, etc.)

2. Conduct basic electrical maintenance such as replacing fuses, fixing wiring, and assisting with equipment checks

3. Monitor and report any facility issues requiring attention

4. Ensure water and electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely

5. Assist with general facility upkeep, repairs, and inspections

6. Collaborate with external technicians or contractors when needed

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a plumber or facility maintenance officer

2. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards

Vocational training and certification as a plumbing or electrical technician will be an advantage.

3. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly

4. Strong attention to detail and reliability

5. Good communication and reporting skills

6. Trade certification or relevant technical training is a plus
