Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repairs of all company-managed facilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Supervise facility staff, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work and compliance with company standards.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective facility operations.
- Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of materials, equipment, and outsourced services.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, asset inventories, and warranties. Develop strategies for improving energy efficiency and sustainability in facilities.
Qualification
B.Sc./HND in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in facility management, preferably in real estate or building maintenance.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage budgets and contracts effectively.
Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is an advantage.
