Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos for an Executive Assistant/Junior Legal Practitioner. The individual will be responsible for providing executive administrative support, managing expense reports, and assisting with legal documentation and processes. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating schedules, handling communication, organizing meetings, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Additionally, the role involves supporting executive decisions through effective communication and organizational skills.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities:
Ø Oversee executives’ calendars, coordinating meetings, appointments, and logistical travel arrangements.
Ø Prepare and curate meeting materials, including comprehensive agendas and presentation documents.
Ø Serve as the liaison between executives and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
Ø Manage all correspondence on behalf of executives, prioritizing timely and accurate responses.
Ø Organize and maintain both electronic and physical filing systems, facilitating quick document retrieval.
Ø Support project management efforts to ensure compliance with timelines and deliverables.
Ø Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements with attention to detail.
Ø Maintain comprehensive records of legal documents and filings under regulatory standards.
Ø Participate in legal meetings, documenting minutes and synthesizing key discussions and action items.
Ø Provide assistance in claim management processes and support dispute resolution efforts.
Ø Facilitate executive approval of design proposals from town planners.
Ø Draft contractual deeds for client agreements and ensure accurate documentation of agreements between parties.
Qualifications:
Ø A minimum of a 1st Class/Distinction Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
Ø Prior experience as an executive assistant within a construction and real estate company
Ø In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, practices
Ø Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ø Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
Ø Strong organizational competencies complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
Ø Proven ability to uphold confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in sensitive situations.
Ø Demonstrated a proactive approach with effective problem-solving skills.
Ø Proficiency in managing Expense Reports and providing Executive Support
Ø Strong Communication skills
Ø Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ø Driving experience is an advantage
Ø Most be very much intelligent
Location: Lekki
